Dahlias to Delight in North Chili—September 10, 2025

FCGN has one more garden to visit for the 2025 season, on Wednesday, September 10, 6-7:30 pm, at the North Chili home of Carol & Dale DeCann. This property is very pretty, with a large lawn sloping down to a community pond in the back, a wooded area, and flowering beds surrounding the property and the house. But Carol’s true love is clearly dahlias. President of the Rochester Dahlia Society, she grows prize-winning blooms in several areas of the property, including a large fenced bed devoted to cultivating exhibition-worthy flowers. There are about 125 different cultivars in all colors, types and sizes.

NOTE: The event starts at 6:00. Try not to arrive before 6:00, so that the owners and our volunteers will have time to get ready for you. Open to members and one guest, registration required.
